Apple & Ham Casserole

A country favorite

  • 3 1/2 cups cooked ground ham
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 3 apples
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  1. Mix together ham, bread, egg, milk, mustard, cloves and onion.
  2. Put mixture in baking dish.
  3. Peel, core and slice apples.
  4. Arrange apples on ham mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar and dot with butter.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes.
