Apple Pie

A classic

  • 5 large apples
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 9" unbaked pie shells
  1. Peel, core and slice apples thin.
  2. Combine apples with spices flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
  3. Fill pie shell with apple mixture and dot with butter.
  4. Put top on crust and slit for steam.
  5. Bake at 400 °F for 50 minutes.
