A kid favorite
- 8 medium carrots
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Peel carrots and optionally cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.
- Cook in boiling water until tender then drain the water well.
- Add the maple syrup and butter.
- Simmer until carrots are glazed with the sauce.
