Maple-Glazed Carrots

A kid favorite

  • 8 medium carrots
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  1. Peel carrots and optionally cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. Cook in boiling water until tender then drain the water well.
  3. Add the maple syrup and butter.
  4. Simmer until carrots are glazed with the sauce.
