Oysters on the Half Shell
A coastal favorite
- 12 Fresh oysters in the shell
- 1 Lemon cut into wedges
- Hot Pepper sauce
- Shuck Oysters making sure you save all juices in bottom shell.
- Loosen the oyster but leave in place.
- Place oysters on a bed of ice or coarse salt .
- Serve with lemon and hot pepper sauce.
