Oysters on the Half Shell

A coastal favorite

  • 12 Fresh oysters in the shell
  • 1 Lemon cut into wedges
  • Hot Pepper sauce
  1. Shuck Oysters making sure you save all juices in bottom shell.
  2. Loosen the oyster but leave in place.
  3. Place oysters on a bed of ice or coarse salt .
  4. Serve with lemon and hot pepper sauce.
